The 787 program is seeking a transformational leader to lead the 787 Change Management Business Operations Team. Familiarity with change management role and responsibilities is desired, although past direct responsibilities are not specifically required. Seeking strong leadership skills, business acumen, and drive to apply data analytics/management in execution of program and Enterprise change management objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations.
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Monitors and adjusts program or business unit work statement capacity.
Reviews management system execution, makes appropriate adjustments.
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
1+ years’ experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
3+ years of experience leading and developing people in either a formal management position or as a technical lead
Ability to influence cross-functional groups to achieve common goals.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
Bachelor’s degree
Familiarity with change management role and responsibilities
