Financial Services Data Analyst Intern

Overview

This internship provides an opportunity to work directly with bank experts analyzing real life data. This internship is a remote opportunity for an aspiring data-driven professional with interest in the Financial Services industry.

You Will

• Data-based Engagements: Participate with team members on loss model validation services.
• Research: Conduct thorough research on issues utilizing firm software, and compile/analyze industry benchmarking from large public data sources.
• Client Interaction: Collaborate with team to provide high-value client services; opportunity to attend client meetings, gaining exposure to diverse business practices.
• Efficiency improvements: We value your input!  Using your knowledge of Microsoft programs like Excel, suggest ways to help us improve data management, flow, and analysis.
• Training & Development: Receive technical and soft skills training while working directly for financial services industry experts, as well as an introduction to the firm’s systems, operations, and procedures.

Additional Requirements: 

• Currently enrolled as a student in an Accounting, Business Analytics, Math, or other data-focused program
• Available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week over three business days (opportunities for up to 40 hours during summer session)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Strong analytical, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Compensation Details

The hourly rate for this role is $28 per hour. This rate range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final rate may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The hourly rate for the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
