Casting: House of Toxic Hues of Blue (Indie Feature Film)

House of Toxic Hues of Blue is a stylized psychological drama about eight strangers who take refuge in an old New England home during an unprecedented global crisis. As days stretch on, tensions rise and bonds form — but the house seems to reflect more than just their anxieties. Shadows lengthen. Colors shift. Unspoken truths surface. Told with intimacy, wit, and visual boldness, the film explores identity, memory, and the strange, fragile connections that form when the world is no longer what it was. We are seeking a dynamic, passionate Production Intern to join our small, dedicated team as we move into pre-production. This is an ideal opportunity for a film student, early-career creative, or multi-hyphenate interested in hands-on experience across development, casting, production design, marketing, and festival strategy. You’ll Be Involved In: Supporting casting, rehearsals, and creative meetings Contributing to mood boards, lookbooks, and production design Assisting with set logistics, call sheets, and script breakdowns Helping build and execute grassroots marketing and crowdfunding efforts Capturing BTS content (if comfortable with photography/video) Sitting in on pitch sessions and brainstorming with the director Ideal Candidate Is: Passionate about storytelling, especially character-driven cinema Self-motivated, organized, and collaborative Comfortable working in a fast-paced indie production environment Knowledgeable in Google Workspace, Canva, and/or Adobe Creative Suite (a plus) Social media-savvy or interested in indie film marketing (a big plus) Perks: Full credit on IMDb and all promotional materials Priority consideration for future paid productions with our team Hands-on learning and mentorship in writing, directing, and producing Opportunity to contribute creatively and meaningfully to a unique, socially conscious story Let’s make something beautiful, strange, and unforgettable—together.
