In this role you will:
- Build the system powering management of the petabytes of data our autonomy teams generate
- Design high-performance services and intuitive tools that let teams discover, index, and analyze their data in seconds—not hours.
- Own end-to-end delivery: from whiteboard concept to production rollout, you’ll shape the entire lifecycle of Data Products that aid in tightening the feedback loop for building a better self-driving truck.
- Continuously raise the bar by driving best practices in reliability, observability, and automation—so our data platform just works, even at multi-petabyte scale.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in professional software development using Go or Python
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with Linux development environments
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS infrastructure (S3, RDS, SQS/SNS)
- Experience with gRPC
- Experience with distributed systems and working with data at scale
The base salary range for this position is $126,000-$201,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
