- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations (local, state, federal)
- Ability to coach and advise business leaders effectively
- Proficient with MS Office tools
- Experience managing employee relations and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with federal DOT laws and DQ file management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills for managing data and compliance
Responsibilities
- Coach and support business leaders on HR strategies and business impact
- Partner with leaders on planning, performance, communications, and change management
- Develop and implement talent strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage HR programs and initiatives at the logistics site
- Assist with personnel policies and procedures development
- Administer benefits, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and employment law
- Manage Associate Life Cycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Provide coaching and conflict resolution for employee relations issues
- Serve as primary contact for benefits, FMLA, workers’ comp, and disability inquiries
- Maintain employee data management systems and records compliance
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
