Engineering Project Manager - Software Beta Program
Description
This is a diverse role that includes: * Directly contacting external customers, internal program management, and engineering teams * Monitoring pre and post-release public feedback to identify and call out new issues in the field * Reporting on progress of seeding programs, assessment of incoming feedback, and other project status * Supporting ongoing development of our seeding program tools * Investigating issues reported by our outside users through test reproduction, debugging, and diagnostics analysis * Reviewing bugs and work with engineering teams to isolate and appropriately prioritize response * Identifying trends and insights from large and complex data
Minimum Qualifications
BS/MS, preferably Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math or related experience 4+ years of experience in project management Ability to debug hard problems and investigate root cause analysis Comfortable and adaptable in a dynamic and informal environment, and able to respond to changing priorities quickly and expertly Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a software or QA Engineer Real passion for user-focused design & high quality technology Self-motivated and dedicated with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities Detail-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills Technical proficiency in data visualization (e.g., Tableau) a plus Programming skills in Python a plus
