Job Summary:

Are you passionate about the intersection of marketing and technology? Do you thrive on utilizing the latest digital tools and technologies to drive business growth and enhance customer experiences? Our organization is seeking an enthusiastic and strategic Digital Marketing Specialist to lead our marketing tech efforts.

In this role, you'll not only get to oversee and manage essential marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Shopify, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, and CRM systems, but you'll also be part of a team that's pushing the boundaries of marketing innovation.


Primary Job Responsibilities:

Marketing Technology Stack Management:

  • Oversee and manage various marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Shopify, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, and CRM systems to ensure seamless integration and efficient operation.
  • Monitor the performance of these tools and make necessary adjustments to optimize marketing activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and evaluate new tools that could benefit our marketing efforts.

Data Integration & Automation:

  • Ensure the smooth flow of customer data across all platforms to facilitate automated email campaigns, personalized customer experiences, and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and implement automation processes to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Establish data quality standards and ensure compliance across the marketing team.

Tracking & Analytics:

  • Set up and maintain UTM tracking, pixel implementation, and attribution models to accurately measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing strategies.

Paid Ad Management:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive paid advertising campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on paid ad campaign performance using analytics tools to make data-driven decisions for optimization.
  • Continuously refine bidding strategies, ad copy, and landing pages to achieve and exceed marketing objectives.
  • Align paid advertising efforts with SEO objectives and avoid cannibalization of organic search traffic.

Process Improvement:

  • Regularly assess marketing workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Propose and implement tech-driven solutions to streamline processes, increase productivity, and improve overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve our technology stack to align with evolving business needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, eCommerce, and operations to ensure aligned technology strategies that support our business goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing between teams to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies and processes across the organization.

Requirements

 Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Strong understanding of marketing technologies and their integration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times (let’s be honest, we’re talking Q3 and Q4) stressful environment.
  • Ability to exhibit the small business mindset, even as the business grows. 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Digital Marketing role, preferably within a marketing or eCommerce environment.
  • Experience with working in at least one of the following platforms: Klaviyo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Markedo, or similar. 
  • Experience with data privacy laws preferred.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other marketing channel reporting required. 
  • Experience with setting up UTMs, tracking/pixel codes, and other backend trackers for conversions required. 
  • Experience working with a company that implemented and successfully utilized the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) preferred. 
  • Willingness to work in-person at our facility in Lafayette, IN

Physical Requirements: 

Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer.


Environment Requirements:

Working in an environment with various fragrances and scents.
