- Expertise in networking protocols including ad-hoc mesh, IPSec, MACSec, SD-WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols.
- Strong knowledge of IP data, addressing, switch/router interfaces, and TCP/UDP transport mechanisms.
- Experience with tactical LOS and BLOS RF systems including SatCom, VHF/UHF, MIMO, and antenna theory.
- Familiarity with military and public safety tactical network infrastructure and wideband commercial communication products.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing and mobile device management.
- Ability to integrate communications products into various vehicles and systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and network performance analysis skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to customers.
- Capable of working independently and collaborating with diverse technical teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including remote locations.
- Eligibility for and maintenance of U.S. Secret Security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement networking solutions across OSI layers 1-4 for distributed unmanned systems and C2 applications.
- Develop network architectures and configurations based on complex design reference missions.
- Build robust benchmarking and network traffic analysis tools.
- Analyze test network infrastructure and recommend improvements to optimize reliability and throughput.
- Create link budgets, network diagrams, terrain analysis, and configuration files for tactical networks.
- Optimize RF configurations including LOS/BLOS systems and satellite communications.
- Adapt and customize Anduril’s products to meet specific customer mission requirements.
- Collaborate with end-users, vendors, and internal teams to generate new product applications.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on advanced product features.
- Travel to test sites and ranges for flight operations and testing.
- Plan and contribute to successful execution of complex test events.
- Serve as subject matter expert on Anduril UAV products and tactical networks.
Education
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
