Responsibilities
- Oversee growth and optimization of developmental operations including tooling, chemical manufacturing, testing, and hardware integration.
- Manage a diverse team of 50+ engineers, technicians, and operators across multiple shifts and weekends.
- Drive production schedule planning and execution to meet customer and contractual demands.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices to enhance operations and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and program management for seamless product integration.
- Partner with EHS to maintain safety compliance and robust safety programs.
- Mentor production leaders and staff while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Utilize ERP/MES tools for production metric analysis and operational performance improvement.
- Serve as primary liaison for developmental operations with internal and external stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
