How will you make an impact in this role?
The Commercial Data Office (CoDO) team, within Global Commercial Services (GCS), is focused on powering the best customer experience and driving value through data. With continuous changes in the regulatory environment and data innovation, CoDO plays a key role in supporting GCS’ sustainable growth balanced with controls and risk management. In partnership with the Enterprise Data Office and across GCS, CoDO is tasked with building new, innovative data solutions for our customers and leading the program for adherence to data regulations and data management best practices.
Role Description
The Sr. Business Architect - Commercial Data Strategy will report to the Director of Commercial Data strategy under Commercial Data Office (CoDO). This role will lead creation of the Commercial Business Data Architecture across card and non-card product lines in support of GCS priorities for product, marketing, sales/client management, analytics and operations.
This role will drive the data architecture vision for data sourcing, enrichment, organization and sharing capabilities. The role will partner closely with Business, Product, Technology and Risk Management partners on developing a data unification and architecture roadmap, to support the current Global Commercial Services priorities and goals, while powering future growth and return on investment through data balanced with appropriate controls.
We are looking for a Business Architect with strong hands-on data strategy and management background with expert understanding of best practices in data systems/technology. With a dedicated and talented team behind you, you will lead the creation and evolution of Commercial Services data strategy to transform data into a differentiator for our business.
The ideal candidate for this role will help the business strike the balance between stabilization, modernization and growth of the Commercial Services through data. Highly engaging collaboration across user personas, and the ability to understand business /technology priorities, articulating their needs/challenges and accordingly defining the data strategy roadmap, are key skills needed for this role.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, operates cross-functionally (both with business, product and technology stakeholders), and maintains a positive attitude and sense of humor in the face of challenges.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
