The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.

 

The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.

The US Membership Engagement teams sits within US Customer Loyalty Marketing (USCLM) as a critical and foundational arm to deliver marketing on behalf of the enterprise to win the hearts, minds and wallets of our customers and deliver on the brand promise. As a team we are at the helm of evolving our cross-channel customer engagement strategies for core products.  We are seeking a Senior Analyst of Platinum Loyalty Marketing who will partner closely with the Senior Manager to drive ongoing innovation across the Consumer Platinum Card cross-channel marketing curriculum. 

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Senior Analyst - Platinum Loyalty Marketing, will focus on progressing and leveraging data to deepen personalization and a cohesive benefit enrollment journey across key loyalty channels, including the Value Summary curriculum. This individual will partner closely with Product, Benefit Owners, Enterprise Comms & Martech Experiences (ECMX), New Product Development, Legal, Compliance, Servicing, and Channel Owners to develop enhancements and synergies to new and existing marketing curriculums and servicing communications. 

This role is ideal for a highly motivated, customer centric marketer who is interested in understanding the fundamentals of our Loyalty channels and capabilities to further our ability to innovate as a team. He/She should be excited to collaborate with partners across the organization, bring strong organizational/project management skills, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset to their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategy, creation, and execution to deepen personalization across Platinum marketing channels via partnership with NPD, ECMX, CMC, and legal to progress data needs
  • Lead marketing activities for the Platinum marketing curriculum including but not limited to Value Summary Emails, Direct Mail, and digital channels
  • Build and strengthen cross-functional relationships across channel owners, product, and benefit owners to influence go-to-market strategies and develop complementary marketing and servicing communications plans to drive Card Member engagement
  • Support project management across the team and product partners
  • Own end to end digital marketing execution, from creative brief development to ongoing reporting and analysis of campaign

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience with or strong interest in digital marketing and knowledge of AXP marketing processes preferred
  • Experience with direct mail/web experience preferred
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for understanding what drives customer behavior for our Premium base and how we can enhance our Card Member experience
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to work in white space, identify opportunities for growth, and develop innovative solutions that align with business objectives.
  • A passion for leveraging data to make decisions, drive prioritization and demonstrate impact (mix of analytical skills and strategic thinking)
  • Positive, self-starter with a thirst to move quickly, challenge what’s been done and demonstrate organizational savviness to proactively innovate. You can move quickly with high decision quality, including through white space or when circumstances create ambiguity. If there is no clear next step, you create it and tell a strong story for why we should do it.
  • Strong, proactive communicator with experience communicating with diverse partners and leaders. A strong storyteller and thoughtful about how to flex your style based on your audience
  • Highly organized and comfortable delivering results across multiple work streams simultaneously. You’re not afraid to jump in to figure out ‘how things work,’ establish ownership and collaborate in a fast-paced environment to bring marketing to life
  • Energy for collaboration and innovation is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
