Product Manager, Pricing Tools

The Difference You Will Make:

You will be part of the team responsible for product roadmaps and launches at Airbnb. You will drive specific features that are part of every launch and determine how they are communicated to the external world. You are responsible for the success of Airbnb products throughout their life cycle — from concept to release. And their cross-functional work ensures a consistent product voice across all the products being developed at Airbnb.

In this position you will be the owner of the experience that hosts use to manage their pricing and fees across Homes, Services, Experiences, and offerings yet to come. With our latest release, we introduced an all-new app for our hosts, including a brand new Calendar to manage their availability and new pricing tools to support them in setting up their businesses. But this was just the beginning. In this role you own the vision and roadmap for the pricing tools to support the future success and growth of Homes, Experiences, and Services hosts on Airbnb. This involves deeply understanding the needs of our hosts in running their businesses and partnering with the product and business teams developing these offerings. Most importantly, you will work closely with the product teams managing the guest pricing experience, and other host products including the Calendar and pricing recommendations.

A Typical Day: 

• Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the pricing needs of all hosts—Homes, Services, and Experiences.
• Lead the development of new pricing features that drive host growth and success.
• Craft the product narrative and marketing strategies that communicate the benefits and features of these products both internally and externally.
• Develop product roadmaps and build alignment across product teams (Tech, Design), cross-functional partners (FP&A, Marketing, Global Operations, Customer Experience, Trust, etc.) and Leadership/Executive team.
• Inspire teams, leadership, and the company to support the success of your products and business outcomes.
• Build deep expertise on the subject matter both through user research, marketplace data, and an understanding of the competitive landscape.
• Define goals and success with clearly measurable objectives and key results. 
• Implement best-in-class product development and management practices.
• Efficiently execute to ship products and deliver impact for our business and users.
• Lead cross-functional groups to deliver on the team’s mission. 
• Communicate concisely and influence outcomes.

Your Expertise:

• 10+ years of product management experience.
• Experience creating product messaging and delivering to customers and the media.
• Demonstrated track record of product leadership.  
• Built and scaled global consumer products and ecosystems that people love.
• Entrepreneurial track record of taking an idea to reality.
• Experience working on consumer products with a financial component.
• A strong ability to effectively use data and perform business analysis to support product strategy/decisions.
• Excited to drive execution across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to do individual contributor product management work.

Your Location:

We are open to candidates in multiple locations, but we ask that you are able to work Pacific Time Zone work hours as needed.

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
