Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Kalamazoo. In this role, you will handle customer inquiries while managing data entry and order processing responsibilities, ensuring efficient and accurate service delivery to our valued customers.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently through our system
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Perform data entry tasks with high attention to detail
- Maintain and update customer records in the database
- Verify order information and resolve any discrepancies
- Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with shipping and warehouse teams to expedite orders
- Generate and maintain accurate reports on order processing activities
- Address and resolve customer complaints professionally
- Document all customer interactions and maintain detailed records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience required
- Demonstrated experience in data entry and order processing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM with high accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software preferred
- Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
