Every day is a chance to learn something new and turn vacation inspiration into exceptional experiences for millions of travelers worldwide.The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis provides leadership for all financial analysis and reporting processes in support of Resort Management, primarily related to Resort Operations. In addition, this position is the lead on the annual Resort Budgeting process, from creating models and ensuring its ability to support multitude of Management Agreements in Travel + Leisure's North American portfolio. Works closely with Hospitality Corporate & Vacation Ownership FP&A to ensure processes are aligned between business segments. The department also relies on this position for leadership with ad hoc analyses related to existing and/or future operations.
How You'll Shine:
Direct and/or supervise development & implementation of various operating budget models in support of North American Resort Management and its portfolio of Resorts & Clubs. These functions include interfacing with Regional Teams & Accounting Directors on variance analysis, verifying accuracy/content of collected reports, and researching issues/inquiries resulting from monthly senior leadership meetings.
Develop, implement and interpret complex financial and data modeling concepts driving effectiveness and efficiency for leaders.
Evolve the monthly reporting package(s) to drive key business decisions with KPIs, performance drivers, and summaries against budget and forecasts.
Create non-financial metrics, (ie. Headcount reporting), to provide insight into performance and trends.
Performs other duties as needed.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal – may occasionally travel to a local site for training purposes and/or off-site conferences
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
Excellent professional communication skills,
Ability to multi-task & coordinate multiple projects
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to thrive in a deadline oriented atmosphere
Proficient in PeopleSoft and/or Oracle Fusion
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Demonstrated ability to condense large volumes of data into meaningful reports
Ability to create systematic & sustainable reporting for non-financial personnel
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Strategic thinker.
5-7 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis functions
3-4 years’ experience supporting a Hospitality business.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
