Sales Associate (Early Career)

As a Sales Associate at Wordly, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our reach and bringing the power of AI-powered real-time interpretation to organizations worldwide. This exciting hybrid role combines the responsibilities of a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and a Junior Account Executive, providing you with a comprehensive foundation in the sales lifecycle. 

What You'll Do: 

Prospecting & Lead Generation: 

  • Conduct targeted research to identify potential customers and key 

  • decision-makers in relevant industries. 

  • Utilize various outreach methods (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage prospects and generate qualified leads. 

  • Effectively communicate Wordly's value proposition and the benefits of real-time interpretation. 

  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria and schedule introductory meetings for Account Executives. 

Early-Stage Account Management: 

  • Participate in initial discovery calls with potential clients to understand their needs and challenges. 

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations showcasing Wordly's capabilities.

  • Collaborate with senior Account Executives to develop and execute sales strategies. 

  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of early-stage opportunities. 

  • Prepare and present basic proposals and quotes. 

Sales Operations & Reporting: 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in our CRM (HubSpot). 

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation and early-stage pipeline. 

  • Contribute to the development of best practices for sales processes and outreach strategies. 

Continuous Learning & Development: 

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and Wordly's product updates.

  • Actively participate in sales training and coaching sessions to enhance your skills. 

  • Seek opportunities to expand your knowledge of the sales cycle and account management. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. 

  • 0-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (internships and recent graduates are encouraged to apply!). 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong research and analytical abilities. 

  • Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.

  • A passion for technology and its ability to solve real-world problems. 

  • Resilience and the ability to handle rejection. 

  • Experience with CRM software (HubSpot a plus). 

  • A team-player mentality with a positive attitude. 

Bonus Points For: 

  • Experience with SaaS sales. 

  • Familiarity with the meeting and event technology landscape. 

  • Multilingual abilities.

Wordly caters to numerous customers around the world which include local organizations and businesses; government entities; Fortune 500 companies; and much, much more. While this is a fully remote position, office space in Los Altos, California is available for San Francisco Bay Area residents that wish to utilize it.
