Responsibilities
- Design and coordinate fire protection drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material schedules.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, insurance requirements, and building codes.
- Provide updates to purchasing regarding installation schedule and change orders.
- Produce shop lists for fabrication of system piping.
- Integrate fire suppression systems with other mechanical trades and identify conflicts.
- Maintain risk management and safety procedures on job sites.
Education
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in drafting or related field preferred.
- NICET Level I or II certification.
