DevOps Engineer
Skills
- Proficiency with DevOps tools including GitHub Actions, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Puppet/Chef, Azure DevOps.
- Strong scripting skills in REST, shell, Python, Java, VB and experience with Chef, Puppet, PowerShell, Ruby, JavaScript.
- Experience with enterprise GIT repos, branching and forking practices.
- Hands-on familiarity with AWS monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of Veracode and SonarQube is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain various CI/CD pipelines for code releases with operational and security compliance.
- Collaborate with developers to improve the developer experience and accelerate software delivery.
- Design innovations to enhance infrastructure resiliency, security, and data availability.
- Partner with Software and Engineering teams to create pipelines alongside code development.
- Coordinate with Architecture to align technology stack roadmap and improvements.
- Respond to system issues and participate in high-priority incident responses including off-hours support.
- Engage with internal and external partners to address operational challenges.
- Ensure automated testing integration during code deployments.
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
