We are seeking a skilled and driven Full Stack .NET Developer to join our collaborative IT team in a contract-to-hire role for our client. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker with extensive experience in creating robust solutions using the Microsoft .NET Development Stack. This position involves building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable applications, engaging with stakeholders, and integrating various platforms and tools. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in modern frontend and backend technologies, Azure cloud services, and agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-quality solutions using the Microsoft .NET Development Stack.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and create efficient, user-focused solutions.
• Update and improve existing .NET applications to support dynamic business objectives.
• Guide and mentor less experienced developers, promoting a culture of learning and innovation.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and updates in the development stack.
• Contribute to strategic decisions to enhance the development stack, aligning with our commitment to continuous improvement.
• Deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and maintainable, following company standards and industry best practices.
• Monitor progress and identify opportunities to optimize processes within the Product Team.
• Your technical expertise and leadership will be instrumental in fostering a dynamic, innovative development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience developing solutions using the Microsoft .NET stack.
• Proficiency with frontend technologies such as Razor Pages, MVC, HTMX, and jQuery.
• Strong knowledge of backend technologies, including Microsoft .NET 8/9, Entity Framework, MediatR, FastEndPoints, Azure SQL Server, Azure App Services, Microsoft Graph, Docker, and Dev Containers.
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, continuous integration pipelines, and infrastructure as code (Bicep).
• Familiarity with message-driven systems like NServiceBus, Azure Service Bus, or RabbitMQ is desirable but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for agile development methodologies.
