Director of IT Helpdesk and Office Infrastructure

For our newly created Helpdesk and Office infrastructure Director position, we are seeking a motivated, self-driven, and detail-oriented individual to lead and manage all aspects of Helpdesk and Office infrastructure for the company. The individual will lead a team of 5 IT helpdesk personnel. A highly skilled, customer- service oriented team leader with experience providing top-tier end user support in a fast-paced environment would be the ideal candidate.

Candidate must have experience setting up and designing office infrastructure, such as video conferencing facility, Wi-Fi, and digital office. The company’s IT needs are constantly evolving, and a successful candidate must be able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

This position will require working on-site Monday- Friday in our Irving, TX office, and will require up to 20% travel throughout the US.

• Enhance and implement IT helpdesk and Office infrastructure policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure and end user needs
• Manage the office infrastructure (video conference, conference room, Wifi, internet, managed printing service, efax, digital door, office badging system, spare IT asset inventory, etc.) of all the portfolio companies’ locations
• Manage system updates and security patching of office infrastructure
• Manage Helpdesk team, monitor C-SAT, ticket SLA and constantly hit the target metrics
• Manage the onboarding and deployment process for new hires and hardware refreshes
• Escalate issues to Infrastructure, Security leader, PMO, and head of IT
• Provide primary front-line escalation support to UFT IT
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, business continuity, and data privacy regulations
• Manage and maintain executive presence in the corporate environment
• Travel up to 20%

• 12+ years of experience
• 4-year college degree (Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field is preferred)
• Excellent written documentation skills, and experience producing user-facing and IT documentation
• Ability to communicate with non-technical end users clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and ability to execute tasks based on the guideline from the Security team
• Experience managing Helpdesk (L1, L2,  L3) and Office infrastructure
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office 365 and Azure Active Directory
• Proficient with hardware troubleshooting of Windows (Dell / Lenovo) systems
• Networking experience (TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
• Experience with centrally managed Antivirus applications such as Sentinel One
• iOS / Android Mobile Device Administration through MDM solutions
• Knowledge of Manage Engine suite of products is a plus
• NetSuite, QuickBase, QuickBooks, and Sage Administrator experience is a plus
• Must be comfortable working on-site 5 days a week in our Irving, TX office
