The Multilingual Learner (MLL) Teacher will help provide and guide instruction for MLL students at Roxbury Prep. The MLL teacher will work closely with the school-based Individual Needs Coordinator, Director and Associate Director of Individual Needs, as well as with teachers and leaders across the network.
RESPONSIBILITIES
All ESL teachers or teachers of EL students must have obtained a MA educator license in:
ESL teachers must be appropriately ESL licensed prior to the first day of employment, in order to serve students identified as English learners. Unlike some core academic teachers, ESL teachers do not have a year to earn this licensure. ESL Teachers must have the ESL license prior to beginning employment.

Compensation
Compensation for this role is between $57,000 to $105,000.
Starting pay is determined using various factors including but not limited to relevant full-time teaching experience, education certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools. Candidates without full-time Teaching experience will likely have a starting salary of $57,000.
