Responsibilities:
Attend inpatient morning report each morning.
Organize Pediatric Interest Group (PedsIG) events.
Attend and participate in one of the class retreats, 1 half-day each week in the Teaching Clinic or Continuity Clinic.
Serve as ward attending for up to four weeks on one of the general ward teams, clinical time in an area you are interested in, and 24-hour coverage of the Chief Resident pager or by cell phone.
Assist with organizing the morning report, professional development series for Academic Half-Day, and Ask & Answer.
Develop a master schedule with the incoming chiefs for the next year, participate in various committees,
Attend and participate in House Staff Office meetings.
Participate in one scholarly activity of your choice throughout the year, regular attendance at Grand Rounds, and the monthly Faculty Meeting.
Attend Housestaff-Office-organized resident social events.
Maintain normal office hours (7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.)
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the needs of the children of Arkansas are being met.
