Summary of Job Duties:

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Nursing is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach on a per-semester basis. This role supports our commitment to excellence in nursing education by providing high-quality instruction in classroom, clinical, or online settings, depending on program needs.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing required (Doctorate preferred)
• Current unencumbered RN license (Arkansas or compact state)
• Prior teaching or clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

• Deliver course content in alignment with established curriculum and course objectives

• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students

• Maintain appropriate records of student performance and attendance

• Engage in course planning and student evaluations

• Collaborate with College of Nursing faculty and leadership as needed

Salary Information:

Commensurate with education and experience
