Echo Technologist Part time position, to work weekends performing echo procedures at St Mary’s Hospital. Benefits eligible positionPostion Purpose:
Echo Tech, Part time position, to work in the Radiology Department performing echo procedures at St Mary’s Hospital
What you will do:
- Performs all echocardiography examinations including 2D transthoracic, 2D Transesophageal, 3D Transthoracic and 3D Transesophageal.
- When requested, will perform echocardiograms in the cardiac cath lab and at patient’s bedside.
- Coordinates inpatient and outpatient workflow and maintains department standards for productivity.
- Takes call with other Echo Techs’ on a rotational basis
What you will need:
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current registry from a licensed credentialing organization.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasonography school with advanced registration in echo cardiography is required.
- Experience: At least 1yr experience as Echo Tech- preferably in a busy Cardiology Office
