About the role 

At Tietoevry Care’s Data & AI unit we are reshaping healthcare and social care services by providing our customers with data- driven solutions and cloud data platforms. Our Data & AI team consists of high-end professionals working in data science, data engineering, data modelling, data advisory, cloud solutions, security and software development.

As a Data Architect you will have a key role in developing and designing data-driven services and solutions for our Lakehouse Analytics -platform. You will work in diverse teams of top-level developers and customer experts.  

We expect you to have a strong will to develop groundbreaking data-driven products and services that bring new significant value for our customers and create a better society. You have proven knowledge of the latest data technologies and passion to continuously learn new things.  

To succeed in this role, you should have: 

• Strong professional SW design and development experience and experience of data centric solutions which handle complex and/or large amounts of data
• Several years of hands-on experience in key technical roles in complex product development and/or other SW development projects 
• SW/Data development skills in Python and SQL (or other SW/Data programming languages)
• Knowledge of big data related technologies like Databricks, Azure Synapse or Apache Spark
• Experience of cloud solutions, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Passion to continuously learn new things and aim higher 
• Passion to build great products and solve complex customer problems
• Excellent communications skills in English and Finnish. 

The following additional experience is valued:

• Experience of healthcare and/or social services data/industry
• Data warehouse, data lakes or lakehouse
• Dimensional data modelling, star schemas and data marts
