About the Role
As an Account Executive in our Tax & Accounting Professionals (Audit) Confirmation segment, you will drive revenue growth through strategic account management and new business development. You’ll leverage your initiative and business acumen to conduct comprehensive needs analyses, building trust and credibility with stakeholders through deep knowledge of Thomson Reuters' solutions and the tax and accounting industry. A successful Account Executive has the ability to create customized client presentations, conduct product demos and deliver ROI-focused proposals that demonstrate clear value, accelerate decision-making, positioning you as strategic partner who understands client needs and delivers measurable business impact through tailored solutions.
Drive new business acquisition with banks, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing new opportunities.
Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets.
Demonstrate expert knowledge of Confirmation and Asset Verification products, effectively positioning their value and tailored solutions to client needs.
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, understanding business needs, and assisting with customer issues to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data using Salesforce CRM, adhering to sales processes and leveraging sales automation tools.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and other teams to support client acquisition and retention.
Stay current on industry trends and the competitive landscape to strategically position Thomson Reuters’ value proposition.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred
3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in financial technology (FinTech), SaaS, or professional services.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong prospecting and closing skills
Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes; Excellent time management & organization skills
Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude
