We blend thoughtfully designed studios, top-tier clinical care, advanced technology, and a hospitality-driven mindset to create a dental experience that’s human, personalized, and exceptional from start to finish.

Since launching in 2019, we’ve delivered care to over 100,000 patients across New York, Washington DC, Boston, Atlanta, and Nashville. With thousands of five-star reviews and over 650 passionate team members, Tend is one of the fastest-growing and highest-rated dental brands in the country — and we’re just getting started.

Whether you’re delivering care in our studios or supporting our growth behind the scenes, every role at Tend contributes to reimagining the future of dental health — for patients and for the people who care for them.

We’re growing fast — and we’re looking for values-driven, mission-aligned talent to grow with us.

The responsibilities include analyzing and resolving credit balances, efficiently processing refund requests, and ensuring documentation of all transactions for audit and regulatory compliance. The specialist will collaborate with RCM team members and studio teams to address discrepancies and maintain accurate account balances, all while demonstrating excellent communication skills. • Post payments and adjustments to patient ledgers, including insurance and member payments, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate and process voluntary and involuntary refund requests efficiently, maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Document all transactions, generating detailed reports for audit purposes and regulatory compliance.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with our studio teams to resolve discrepancies and sustain accurate account balances.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned by RCM leadership.

What You Have:

  • Strong understanding of EOBs and payment reconciliation
  • Highly organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in excel
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Use of Dentrix software will be considered an advantage

What We Offer:

  • Compensation: Competitive pay and opportunity to grow

  • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and telemedicine options — with Tend covering a significant portion of premiums

  • Wellness Perks: Free dental care for you and discounted care for family; cosmetic and orthodontic discounts included

  • Financial Benefits: 401(k) with company match, HSA/FSA options

  • Paid Time Off: Generous PTO that grows with your tenure + paid holidays

  • Resources: Access to our Employee Assistance Program and additional discounts
