About the Role:
MIYO Health is seeking a dedicated and Michigan-licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide in-person, school-based services to students in the Ann Arbor area. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping students develop positive behavior skills, improve daily functioning, and thrive in the school environment through data-driven behavior intervention strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct and indirect services aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and teams
- Train and support paraprofessionals and school staff on behavior strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports (as needed)
Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification
- Active Michigan licensure
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Ability to work in-person in Ann Arbor, MI
- Strong understanding of special education service delivery
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Availability for summer 2025
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with diverse student populations, including autism and developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with electronic data collection tools and systems
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing procedures
- Ability to provide staff training and parent coaching
