Loyalty Strategy Lead, Pillar Management (Business Performance)

The pay range is $92,000.00 - $166,000.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. As a Loyalty Strategy Lead, you will be part of the larger Loyalty Strategy and Growth team. You’ll lead high-impact strategy development and execution across loyalty pillars, benefits, or experiences, always balancing guest relevance with financial performance and operational feasibility.  The Strategy and Growth team leads strategy for Target Circle, assesses future growth territories, manages business performance outcomes, designs new benefits and partnerships, and brings new members into the program to drive program growth. This team plays a critical role in bringing the Circle vision to life both short- and long-term.

As a Loyalty Strategy Lead, you will: 

  • Lead Loyalty annual planning, drive alignment to clear OKRs, and manage business performance routines.  

  • Shape program pillars, benefits, or guest experiences, with a guest-first mindset, while balancing financial and operational considerations. 

  • Set goals that continually raise the bar for Target’s loyalty and financial success.  

  • Evaluate business trends, identifying root causes, and galvanizing cross-functional partners to identify solutions. 

  

About You:  

  • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience  

  • 8+ years of previous Loyalty, Marketing, Merchandising, or related business experience  

  • Strong financial acumen for both retail and cost accounting metrics   

  • Skilled in using data and insights to influence and drive alignment.  

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Builds trust across teams.  

  • Strategic thinker comfortable with ambiguity and decision-making. 

  • Proven leadership, planning and organizational skills.  

  • Strong written and oral communication skills  

  • Self-Starter, with strong initiative and problem-solving skills. 

 

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
