PURPOSE
The Program Coordinator I, under general supervision, coordinates the planning, development and implementation of assigned program.
DESCRIPTION
Functional Area 1: Program Coordination
Percent Effort: 50%
Plans and implements programs and assists in their evaluation
Compiles program statistics
Plans and implements program events such as conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings and workshops
May assist in preparation and monitoring of budgets for programs and events.
Coordinates program communications and marketing
Plans and implements programs and assists in their evaluation
Functional Area 2: Administrative
Percent Effort: 30%
Monitors relevant media and institutional updates to anticipate and mitigate scheduling or operational impacts.
May supervise program staff
May assists in identifying funding opportunities
Conducts post-engagement assessments and collaborates on updates to procedures and process improvements.
Functional Area 3: Support
Percent Effort: 20%
Supports safety and operational readiness during large-scale onsite functions.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
Two (2) years of related experience
Additional experience may be used as a substitute for the minimum education requirement:
Associate’s degree and four (4) years of related experience.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
Planning and organization skills.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three years of related experience.
SALARY: Up to $51,000 /annually, approximately
Up to $4,250 /monthly
