JOB SUMMARY:
Collaborates with Product Owners, Business Partners, and Cross-Functional Teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions that meet business needs. This role focuses on gathering and documenting functional requirements, supporting integration mapping, testing, and training activities within outbound transportation and optimization projects. Works in an agile team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of new features and enhancements, while contributing to continuous improvement and best practices. Engages directly with customers to ensure delivery of a robust, scalable, and high-quality product.
Responsibilities:
Lead and facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders
Document business processes, functional requirements, and integration points
Translate business needs into actionable system configuration and design tasks
Assist with integration mapping and validation between internal and third-party systems
Collaborate with development and QA teams throughout the sprint cycle
Lead or support testing efforts to ensure functional alignment with business goals
Create user documentation and support training for new capabilities
Identify process improvement opportunities and propose enhancements
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for transportation systems and routing tools
Participate in sprint ceremonies and represent business needs as required
Identify and assess risks, propose mitigations aligned with business objectives
Apply Lean and Agile methodologies to analyze and enhance processes
Present results and product demos tailored to various business and technical audiences
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
Mandatory Experience:
5–8 years of experience gathering and documenting business/functional requirements
Strong background in transportation, logistics, or related enterprise systems
Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
Software configuration or application development experience is a plus
