About StriveTogether

StriveTogether is a national network of community partnerships that brings together neighbors, including youth and families, nonprofits, businesses, schools and more, to work toward a future where youth can thrive in their communities. Cradle to Career Network members change the way their communities work together by building connections, sharing resources and using data to put more young people on a path to economic mobility. Our work helps young people meet seven key life milestones so that they have the opportunities they need to reach their goals, and, ultimately, thrive.

StriveTogether team members are leaders committed to building a future where every young person has access to the opportunities they need to succeed. We are community supporters, difference makers and compassionate leaders. Above all, we are champions for every child. At StriveTogether, we cultivate an environment where every member of our team can grow both personally and professionally. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to help communities across the country improve outcomes for every child, cradle to career.

About the position

Reporting to the Senior Director of Network Impact, the Network Advisor will work with team members across departments and be the first point of contact for advanced StriveTogether network members and provide a cadre of support. The Advisor will manage a portfolio of network members to understand their work, advise them on key areas of need and connect them to people and resources to help accelerate their work.

Additionally, Advisors will support advanced network members in advancing outcomes through systems-level policy and practice strategies, curate rapid cycle learning from their portfolio, organize and facilitate network events and collaborate with colleagues to bring learning and insights to the organization, network and field. A successful candidate will have a track record of social sector experience, a deep customer service orientation and a commitment to solutions-focused learning and improvement.

About you

You are an experienced practitioner in the social sector or field of place-based partnerships. You are adept at using strategic insight and analysis to frame questions, develop hypotheses and test or implement solutions. You are a thoughtful and skilled communicator and know how to distill themes and insights verbally and in writing. You deeply value results-focused relationship building and have a very strong client orientation. You understand multi-faceted tactics to support network members and approach all interactions with a listening and solutions-focused stance. Though you are self-directed, you also know when and how to collaborate with others.

You are committed to ensuring all children and families have every opportunity they need to succeed. To be successful in this role, you must be aware of the complex dynamics of our national educational landscape and the challenges that community members face on the path to achieving economic mobility.
