Full Stack Developer

WHO WE ARE:

STAHL Companies provides the Program Management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New Technology start-ups.

STAHL advocates for policies that can improve government services and maintain our government's competitive advantage, by bringing more technology into government programs.

STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S. government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.

The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for all aspects of system development, to include requirements definition, system design, architecture, development/coding, testing, deployment, sustainment, etc.

· Develop system requirements by conferring with users/process owners and accommodating systems flow, data usage, and work processes.

· Create systems by using variety of languages and design tools. Improve system performance by consulting with clients and applying appropriate problems solving skills to rootcause problems and develop effective solutions.

· Monitor system performance to ensure critical processes are functioning and stable.

· Report project status to company leaders and clients.

Qualifications:

Minimum/General Experience: Possesses ten (10) years of general experience in software design, development, and testing.

Specialized Experience: Eight (8) years of full stack development experience for all aspects of system development.

Skills/Qualifications at a minimum:

- Proficiency with C#, C++, OO, .net 2.1-4.5,SQL Server

- Proficiency with Web applications, windows applications, web services, and windows services

- Knowledge of and ability to follow Information Assurance (IA) and system development standards

- Self-starter with ability to work alone or as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to obtain a security clearance Minimum

Education/Experience: Master’s degree in programming, computer science, information systems, or a related field and ten (10) years general experience including eight (8) years of full stack development experience for all aspects of system development. A Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) additional years of full stack development experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree.
