Key Role Requirements
Experience developing physics-based and/or data-driven models of lithium-ion battery behavior, including degradation, impedance growth, and capacity fade.
Proficient in numerical modeling tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Simulink, COMSOL) for implementing electrochemical, thermal, and aging models at cell and pack levels.
Skilled in using experimental test data to parameterize, validate, and refine degradation and performance models under varying load and environmental conditions.
Familiar with control-oriented modeling approaches for integration with BMS algorithms, including state estimation (SOC, SOH) and predictive diagnostics.
Collaborative with test, design, and cell teams to translate model insights into design tradeoffs and system-level performance improvements.
