Job Description: ServiceNow Administrator
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSC, IRM, CSM) to meet business requirements.
Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, coordinating with stakeholders to minimize disruptions.
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, MID servers, or ETL tools.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues, working with ServiceNow support and cross-functional teams to resolve critical incidents.
Create and maintain documentation, including configuration guides, process workflows, and administrative procedures.
Monitor platform performance, conduct regular audits, and implement best practices for system governance and compliance.
Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions within the ServiceNow framework.
Stay updated on ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends to recommend improvements and optimizations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, with hands-on expertise in configuring and managing ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSC, IRM, CSM).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications such as CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) in one or more modules preferred.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, including its modules, workflows, and data structures.
Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, integrations, and operational support, including troubleshooting and resolving platform issues.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and their application within ServiceNow.
Proficiency in scripting (e.g., JavaScript) and integration tools (e.g., REST, SOAP, MID servers) for ServiceNow customizations.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
