- Proficiency in structural design and analysis software such as SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, RISA-3D, ETABS
- Experience creating structural detail drawings in Revit and NX
- Knowledge of AISC steel manual, ACI code 318, ASCE 7, and International Building Codes (IBC)
- Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills
- Ability to work in hazardous conditions using appropriate PPE
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams and contractors through structural engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Develop and issue structural design documentation and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects
- Perform structural design and analysis for steel and concrete structures
- Manage construction contracts and resolve onsite design and construction conflicts
- Conduct onsite engineering inspections and field observations
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or related engineering discipline
