Skills
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python or similar programming languages
- Software design and development skills
- Experience with fault tolerant, distributed, or real-time systems
- Test design expertise from unit tests to integrated regression and exploratory testing
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and performance testing skills
- Familiarity with Linux programming and computer architecture
- Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Develop highly reliable autonomous software systems including testing for resilience and fault tolerance
- Design software for space-flying vehicles and supporting ground systems
- Build prototypes and analyze system metrics to validate design concepts and technical constraints
- Own all phases of software development from design through flight operations
- Provide strong technical leadership and focus on continuous improvement
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline
