Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers for current and new products
- Aggregate demand data to create accurate demand signals supporting satellite production rates
- Serve as supplier interface for RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate sourcing options and make decisions
- Manage costs aggressively to meet budget and forecast targets
- Create should-cost models for competitive cost analysis
- Ensure supplier readiness for prototype builds and mass production
- Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives with suppliers
- Present value propositions and critical supply updates to executives
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Implement analytics tools to monitor supplier performance
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
