Skills
- Proficiency in RF/microwave circuit design and simulation
- Experience with RF front-end system modeling
- Ability to design and test linear and nonlinear RF components
- Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum, vector signal, and network analyzers
- Knowledge of digital communication systems and modulation techniques
- Skill with RF design software tools like ADS, HFSS, AWR, and Altium Designer
- Programming experience in Python, Matlab, C++, or LabVIEW for RF modeling and test automation
Responsibilities
- Simulate and model RF front-end systems collaborating with system architects and engineers
- Derive hardware specifications for RF systems and components
- Develop RF/microwave circuits, MMICs, boards, and packaging
- Evaluate and characterize RF prototypes and components
- Analyze overall radio performance comprehensively
- Assist in creating automated test equipment for laboratory measurements
- Collaborate with manufacturing on production testing of RF avionics systems
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD with focus on RF/microwave circuits or electromagnetics
