Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3  Food - Schools for El Segundo Unified School District located in El Segundo, CA. The ideal candidate will act as a consultant to the chief business officer and superintendent and be able to provide expert advice professionally. The ideal candidate will also have a strong financial acumen and be an excellent oral and written communicator.  At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. What You Bring

• have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively 
• have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance 
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service 
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• knowledge of USDA regulation for child nutrition programs is a plus
• demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate’s degree with academic major in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 4 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience
