Role Overview

Sodexo Energy & Resource is seeking a Director 2 - Facilities Operations to work with an Oil & Gas client in Houston, TX. The Director 2 - Facilities Operations will be responsible for managing multiple site services including, but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and financial performance. What You'll Do

• manage multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for the facility, with knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, structural, architectural, energy management/sustainability, electrical, environmental & safety, and financials
• develop and maintain positive client relationships and conduct client meetings on unresolved facility issues as well as communicate results
• manage and coach staff along with service providers to deliver excellent service levels within budget
• research and implement new processes and technology
• understand the management of capital projects

What You Bring

• 5+ years of industry experience in a facilities setting
• direct experience with upskilling technicians for self performance that had been subcontracted out previously
• a proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments
• a strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
• strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building
• strong financial acumen and budget management experience
