JOB SUMMARY: 

We’re looking for a forward-thinking, digitally fluent Senior Manager of Social Media & Influencer Marketing to lead the Zales and Banter brand presence across social platforms and influencer channels. This role is key in driving brand relevance and engagement while building a social content ecosystem to support brand priorities and pillars. This role will develop campaigns against brand goals, media plans, and business priorities, translating initiatives into social-first output to drive awareness and consideration leading to a measurable business impact. We are looking for a passionate team leader with the desire to push our brands forward through every piece of content and partnership with creativity and purpose.

This hybrid role requires a flexible work schedule, combining on-site presence with remote work, based out of our Support Center in Dallas, Texas.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Leadership and Cross Functional Collaboration:

  • Communicate work to leadership for alignment and translate work into presentable formats for cross functional awareness and leadership presentations

  • Help prioritize work streams with team to properly manage short-term and long-term initiatives

  • Lead brand partnership/activation initiatives with heavy focus on social and influencer output in partnership with key stakeholders.

Social:

  • Partner closely with Brand team and agency to leverage national campaigns for Organic and Paid social concepts and output, managing all workstreams to bring social work to life.

  • Guide the creation of detailed content calendars, ensuring content is relevant, engaging and aligned with broader brand messaging and objectives.

  • Apply a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, best practices and the relevant KPIs using insights and performance to continuously optimize content.

  • Partner with the Sr. Director to continuously evolve the social strategy and creative framework to meet the platforms and users as they evolve.

  • Creative a cohesive approach across paid and organic social that maximizes efficiency and effectiveness while pushing the brands forward in best-in-class creative.

  • Oversee Community Manager and Social Manager roles ensuring the day-to-day aspects of the brands social presence is maintained.

Influencer:

  • Oversee influencer agency relationship and day to day management of influencer strategies and messaging against brand goals, while building creator relationships and fostering a strong social presence and community for Zales and Banter.

  • Partner closely with PR and Media teams on calendar planning, content planning and integration of influencer within media plans and press tactics based on seasonal campaigns and evergreen initiatives.

  • Lead briefings, product selection, and order fulfillment with detailed tracking and templates for influencers and internal stakeholders.

  • Partner with agency to identify clear KPIs and benchmarks for all programming, sharing reporting on performance and identifying opportunity areas on a regular cadence.

  • Manage influencer seeding, gifting, and content creation efforts to actively engage and expand the creator community.

  • Proactively identify opportunity areas and for the business within both internal processes and partnership/influencer relations.

  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6-8 years+ of experience within digital marketing inclusive of social and influencer content development.

  • Strong experience developing social-first campaigns and content strategies.

  • Deep understanding of paid social and ability to translate media plans into content based on platform, funnel and audience.

  • Experience managing agency teams with ability to provide clear strategic and creative direction.

  • Passionate about coaching and developing team members into high performers.

  • Creative thinker who can bring a brand voice to life across a variety of consumer-facing touchpoints.

  • Highly organized with ability to oversee multiple projects and guide team priorities

  • Passionate about digital marketing, innovation, and of course, jewelry.
