Role and Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical guidance to personnel, engineers and management on technical projects or large-scale changes. Lead cross functional teams to solve very complex fab-wide issues. Manage multiple mentoring relationships with junior engineers to them to help them develop technical skills. Manage technical review efforts to propose, refine, and confirm root cause sources, apply effective countermeasures. Work on extremely complex assignments that require an in-depth evaluation of intangible variance factors. Review and consult for designs of experiments (DOE) setup and results interpretation. Provide technical roadmaps for the organization. Provide technical expertise to project teams. Ensures and promote a mindset of high quality and continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing and Mechanical Systems Integration, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:

1.    Defect monitoring and characterization;
2.    Root cause analysis;
3.    Problem Solving;
4.    Process Optimization;
5.    Statistical Process Control;
6.    Design of Experiments; and
7.    Error Proofing Systems.
