Position Title: Social Media Community Engager (YouTube)
Location: S.H.A.R.E. Community Development Corp Company Headquarters, Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Part-Time, 20 hours per week

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, Flexible 4-hour shift starting between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, ending 4 hours later

Compensation: $25 USD / hour.

IMPORTANT: WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATELY. Candidates with immediate availability will be preferred. This is a Part-Time, in office W2 job.

Overview

We seek a dynamic Community Manager to oversee our company’s YouTube channel. The role involves uploading company-provided video content, crafting engaging questions to drive interaction, growing subscribers, and engaging with viewers to promote our brand, products, and services. The candidate will work at our headquarters using a company computer, aligning with our brand’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Posting: Upload and schedule provided videos, optimizing with SEO-friendly titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and      features like end screens, cards, and community posts.
• Engagement: Write compelling questions in descriptions, comments, and community posts to encourage likes, comments, and shares, and interact via comments and Live chats.
• Community Building: Engage with viewers by commenting on related videos and responding to audience feedback to foster relationships and enhance brand visibility.
• Subscriber Growth: Use SEO, playlists, and collaborations to grow subscribers, optimizing the channel for discoverability.
• Brand Promotion: Highlight products and services through videos, community posts, and engagement, driving interest and      conversions.
• Analytics Monitoring: Use YouTube Studio Analytics to track performance (views, watch time, engagement, subscriber growth) and refine strategies.
• Collaboration: Share analytics and viewer insights with the content team to align content with YouTube’s video-centric platform.
• Compliance: Follow company IT policies, brand guidelines, and YouTube’s community standards while working on-site.  We will be monitoring adherence to the 4-hour per day requirement asking employees to check-in and out utilizing a Time-Tracking platform.
  

Requirements

• Proven YouTube management experience with a focus on engagement and growth.
• Expertise in YouTube features (Shorts, Live, Playlists, Analytics, end screens).
• Ability to write engaging, brand-aligned questions and descriptions.
• Strong communication skills for interaction via comments and Live chats.
• Familiarity with tools (e.g., YouTube Studio Analytics)
• Effective time management for a 4-hour shift.
• Comfortable working on company equipment at headquarters.
• Passion for video content and community building.

Work Environment

• Work at company headquarters on a company-provided computer.
• 4-hour daily shift (Monday–Friday), starting between 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, aligned with peak youTube viewing hours.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams in-person.
