Description

Position Title: Social Media Community Engager (LinkedIn)
Location: S.H.A.R.E. Community Development Corp Company Headquarters, Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Part-Time, 20 hours per week

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, Flexible 4-hour shift starting between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, ending 4 hours later

Compensation: $25 USD / hour.

IMPORTANT: WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATELY. Candidates with immediate availability will be preferred. This is a Part-Time, in office W2 job.


Overview 

We seek an energetic and passionate Social Media Community Engager to oversee our company’s LinkedIn page. The role involves posting company-provided content, crafting engaging questions to drive professional discussions, growing followers, and engaging with users to promote our brand, products, and services. The candidate will work at our headquarters using a company computer, aligning with our brand’s professional vision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Content Posting: Schedule and post provided content (articles, videos, polls) on LinkedIn, optimizing for engagement using features like Articles, Events, and Showcase Pages.
  • Engagement: Write thought-provoking captions with questions to encourage comments, shares, and discussions, and interact via comments, InMail, and Groups.
  • Community Building: Engage with professionals by commenting, liking, and sharing in Groups to foster relationships and enhance brand visibility.
  • Follower Growth: Use keywords, Groups, and campaigns to grow followers, optimizing the page for discoverability.
  • Brand Promotion: Highlight products and services through posts, Articles, and engagement, driving B2B interest and conversions.
  • Analytics Monitoring: Use LinkedIn Analytics to track performance (impressions, engagement, follower growth) and refine strategies.
  • Collaboration: Share analytics and audience insights with the content team to align content with LinkedIn’s professional platform.
  • Compliance: Follow company IT policies, brand guidelines, and LinkedIn’s community standards while working on-site. We will be monitoring adherence to the 4-hour per day requirement asking employees to check-in and out utilizing a Time-Tracking platform.

Qualifications

  • Proven LinkedIn management experience with a focus on engagement and growth.
  • Expertise in LinkedIn features (Articles, Polls, Groups, Events, Analytics).
  • Ability to write professional, engaging captions and questions.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction via comments and InMail.
  • Effective time management for a 4-hour shift.
  • Comfortable working on company equipment at headquarters.
  • Passion for thought leadership and professional networking.

Work Environment

  • Work at company headquarters on a      company-provided computer.
  • 4-hour daily shift (Monday–Friday), starting between 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, aligned with peak LinkedIn hours.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams in-person as needed.
