Key Responsibilities
- Lead the product engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
- Define and implement the product engineering strategy in collaboration with product management and executive leadership.
- Oversee the full product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and define product roadmaps.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies and engineering practices to improve product quality and team efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in software engineering and project management.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a Director of Product Engineering or in a similar leadership role.
- In-depth understanding of software engineering principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Experience in leading product development efforts in the tech or recruitment sectors.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software design and architecture.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities, capable of guiding teams and driving consensus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
