About the Role
Ramp is looking for a funny and strategic content creator to help us grow our brand through original character-driven skits and owned video content.
This role is part comedy writer, part performer, part director and 100% essential to helping humanize Ramp in a crowded fintech space. You’ll be responsible for crafting funny, smart, and relevant videos (1–2 per week) that build recurring characters and narratives to entertain, educate, and convert. You’ll be on the growth team working closely with the brand and social teams to align content with key product value props (automation, savings, visibility, and control) while keeping everything fun, surprising, and bingeable.
This is your chance to build a creative property inside a rocketship of a company and help evolve what B2B content can look like.
What You’ll Do
Write, produce, and appear in (or direct others in) original short-form videos that highlight Ramp’s POV, value props, and differentiators
Develop recurring characters and themes that invite emotional investment and long-term brand recall
Create 1-2 videos per week with high standards for concept, craft, and consistency
Collaborate with the performance team, social team and creative team to ensure content ladders up to product positioning and campaign goals without ever being boring
Publish, analyze, and iterate based on performance
Help design our content library to be binge-worthy and profile-optimized, build an actual “channel” people want to follow
Explore collaborations with relevant creators to broaden reach and experiment with new formats
What You Need
A strong portfolio of short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)—ideally with original characters or recurring comedic beats
2-5+ years of experience writing, producing, or performing in video content (professional or self-published)
Excellent comedic timing and a sharp sense of what makes content work, from story to edit to distribution
Confident on camera, with comfort directing others and creating for a variety of formats and tones
High creative ambition, balanced by the ability to work autonomously and hit deadlines regularly
Strong storytelling instincts, with a strategic sense of how to map entertainment to business value
Comfortable in a startup-paced environment with lots of experimentation and iteration
Nice-to-Haves
Familiarity with B2B or fintech concepts (or a genuine curiosity about making them funny)
Experience growing a creator account or channel from scratch
Background in sketch comedy, improv, or screenwriting
Experience partnering with influencers or creators on collabs
Video editing skills (or the ability to oversee an editing pipeline effectively)
100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you
Partially covered for your dependents
One Medical annual membership
401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)
Flexible PTO
Fertility HRA (up to $5,000 per year)
WFH stipend to support your home office needs
Wellness stipend
Parental Leave
Relocation support to NYC or SF
Pet insurance
