Technical Accounting Manager
Skills
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP especially revenue recognition, equity, and financial instruments
- Experience researching complex accounting issues independently
- Familiarity with full-cycle corporate accounting operations and monthly close
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly
- CPA license
Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and technical accounting issues across the organization
- Research and evaluate accounting treatment for complex transactions including equity-related activities
- Support external reporting and audit processes with documentation and audit-ready materials
- Collaborate cross-functionally to assess accounting implications of new products and initiatives
- Contribute to monthly close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and enforce internal accounting policies and controls
- Lead accounting on tax-related projects with coordination to tax advisors
- Provide expertise for complex and non-routine accounting matters across the team
Education
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
