JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The microARCH laboratory lead by Dr. Weyrich in the College of Liberal arts is seeking a research scientist to do DNA extractions, PCRs, and basic molecular biology work on the human microbiome. This work would include:
· DNA Extraction of oral and other microbiome samples
· Library preparation of DNA extractions (e.g. 16S rRNA amplicon or shotgun)
· Other basic molecular biological tasks, as assigned.
