JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Brandywine has an immediate opening for a part-time Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. Penn State Brandywine is a provisional member of the NCAA, competing in the United East Conference starting September 2024. This is a part-time opening that reports to the Director of Athletics.
Assist the Head Coach with organizing all aspects of the soccer program, including practice and game preparation, recruitment of qualified student-athletes.
Motivate student-athletes as well as encourage high academic standards, leadership skills and manage the team’s commitment to NCAA and United East Conference regulations.
Complete game day duties as assigned.
Complete administrative duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a minimum of 1-2 years coaching experience at the collegiate or High School level and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
