About the Role

As the Senior SDET, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of our automated testing framework. You’ll be hands-on in writing test scripts, building reusable libraries, and integrating tests into our CI/CD pipelines. You will also lead and mentor a small QA team to ensure rapid, high-confidence releases across our suite of gaming products.

This is an in-office role based in our Miami headquarters. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to help strengthen our on-site engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement an end-to-end test automation framework tailored for gaming sites (web and mobile)

• Build and maintain UI, API, and end-to-end test suites using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium

• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions and CircleCI)

• Lead and mentor 2-3 QA automation engineers; set technical direction and enforce best practices

• Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to define testable requirements and quality gates

• Establish metrics and reporting to track test coverage, regression rates, and release readiness

• Continuously improve QA processes to reduce manual effort and improve coverage

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA automation experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role

• Proficient in at least one modern programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred)

• Strong experience with modern test automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, TestCafe, etc.

• Experience testing responsive UIs, real-time gameplay features, and user transaction flows

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests

• Experience in mentoring or leading QA engineers, ideally in an Agile/Scrum environment

• Bonus: Experience in online gaming, gambling, or fintech platforms

• Bonus: Familiarity with performance/load testing tools like k6 or JMeter

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing across multiple browsers and devices (including mobile web)

• Familiarity with WebSockets, game loops, or probabilistic outcomes

• Knowledge of tools like Postman, REST Assured, or contract testing frameworks

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $140,000-$160,000. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications.
